You suck at racing. A crash course in auto racing. The various racing organizations define rules for when one car overtakes another. There are subtleties in some situations where it takes a real expert to sort out fault. But in general, there are two important rules. It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver to make a clean pass. To gain right of way in a corner, the overtaking driver must present their car alongside the other car.
