Zambia: Before, During, and After: Day Dream Believer
http://ashleighmilne.blogspot.com/2010/07/day-dream-believer.html
Zambia: Before, During, and After. Friday, July 30, 2010. Always listen in class is not a new statement but one tends to forget it when years pass since last being in a classroom setting. Last Sunday I got a reminder of this in a big way. Now I'm a firm believer in being on time so I usually arrive at 8:30 were there is the deacon (one of the science teachers from school) and maybe two members. I sit there and wait patiently for the rest of the congregation to show up. The Pastor comes upon stage at arou...

Zambia: Before, During, and After: December 2010
http://ashleighmilne.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Zambia: Before, During, and After. Saturday, December 18, 2010. However if the past year has taught me anything it is to think of the positives, take things as they come, and live life. So that is what I am focusing on. Yes my time in Zambia (for now) is over. So bring on the next stage of my life: finding a professional job that I am passionate about, that helps others, and gives me the chance to up-skill and learn new things. It is a new before. Zambia: Before, During, and After. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Never let Your Gaurd Down. I bet you will never guess where I am writing this post from.South Africa! I must admit before my Mum arrived I was a little nervous/unsure whether she would handle the African way of life. But as always she exceeded all expectations and was amazing. I learnt so much about my Mum over those ten days and if possible admirer her even more as a strong, confident, intelligent woman. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Zambia: Before, During, and After. Saturday, June 5, 2010. So Much To Do, So Little Time. So I realize my last blog entry was coming from an angry place, maybe I hadn't had coffee that day. But on reflection things aren't all that bad, well at least not this week. There's always someone out there that manages to contradict what your thinking and surprise you, which is awesome, I just wish I could meet more of those people. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://ashleighmilne.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Zambia: Before, During, and After. Monday, November 23, 2009. Well I survived the pre-departure training held at the VSA offices in Wellington. It actually made me more excited about the whole experience and wanting to go right away. We discussed a lot of issues surrounding development and the different approaches to it. We talked about working as team and the different phases you go through. And I also met some really interesting people. All in all it was an intense and informative four days.

Zambia: Before, During, and After. Sunday, May 30, 2010. So here comes are rant that has been playing on my mind for a while now. Clearly these views are my own and people can and will disagree with me, but that is the beauty of having a blog you are free to express your own opinion. Saturday, May 15, 2010. So ready for ...
