An Inculcator's Ramblings: Remodel
http://inculcator.blogspot.com/2009/06/remodel.html
Yea, I know. It's been a while. So we're paying a friend to remodel parts of our master bathroom and teach/model for me along the way. I've learned a lot watching and helping. I've never been very handy, but I'd like to change that. We're already looking forward to other projects I can do myself (yea right) based on the knowledge and experienced gained from fixing up this bathroom. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). He is a good dog except for his separation anxiety, but we are praying that in time that will lessen. Any suggestions or ideas to help with this, we will gladly take. Bud after eye removal surgery. Friday, June 13, 2008. It's official.we are not midwest people! Needlessly to say, things in Manhattan are in a bit of upheaval and chaos but thankfully we made it through the tornado safely. I can also honestly state that we are not meant to stay in the midwest.east coast, we'll be back! 3 hours in the basement of the vet school. This used to be the TruValue hardware store. An Inculcator's Ramblings: Poetry Presentations
http://inculcator.blogspot.com/2008/05/poetry-presentations.html
Well, my poetry unit is almost finished, and this year I found a better balance between poetry analysis and poetry appreciation. My kids finished the unit by presenting a poem of their choice, pretty much teaching it to the class. Assigned a major presentation. With the pressure of state reading and writing tests and competitive ACT scores between schools, our focus has been fine-tuned to teaching the skills. Can be found at http:/ www.loc.gov/poetry/180. Hope your last week goes smoothly and swiftly!

Mike & Carolyn: July 2008
http://marinoclan.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 01, 2008. I am however thankful to say that I have now seen that twice: here in Kansas and also back home when my family lost our home to a fire back in March 1996. Even through the storms, God is faithful and will provide! I've also recently finished two more quilts. One was a jungle/rainforest playmat for my niece, Ava, and the other was a rag quilt for my friend's daughter, Grace. I will leave you with some pictures of them. Grace's purple and pink flower rag quilt. Amy, Robb and Ally.

An Inculcator's Ramblings: In Trouble

We know biting was happening both ways, but unfortunately Joel bites harder. I guess no one knows exactly who begins each of these little biting sessions, but apparently it seems that Carter and Joel just don't get along very well. Heh, I hope that they know each other later in life and can look back on this and laugh. I know that Joel hasn't been biting anyone else lately in daycare or. An Inculcator's Ramblings: A New Toy
http://inculcator.blogspot.com/2008/06/new-toy.html
So I know it's been awhile since I've posted at, much less posted something with a lot of meaningful, insightful text. I guess getting caught up in the world of media and electronics is the story of my life, so it's not any wonder that is reflected in my blog. I DO have 2 posts that I've started and saved as drafts that I plan to finish soon. Many postings I've visited refer to this review site. I've definitely spent way. An Inculcator's Ramblings: Role Model
http://inculcator.blogspot.com/2008/02/role-model.html
Salsa bowl, he mimics words we use, he now tries to walk down the stairs like we do. He may have had some idea that Lucy was being reprimanded (with the same word we use to redirect Joel), but his act seemed more like blind imitation, something he saw dad do and that he wanted to try too. Imitate, even as adults, is so subtly impressed upon us by our friends/media/etc that we remain blind to what we are becoming? Conscious choice to be more Christlike or kind or diligent or selfless.
