Marcy and I have (I think) gradually learned to feed, which I had heard could be quite trying. So, we are just so in awe and truly thankful for so many blessings! Noah resurrected our old lawn (he had rolled it up when the roots ran out of room and stopped growing and placed it with our now-defunct compost) in a window planter and ever since has been dumping random seeds into it from the produce we cook. This was really good! 4 lbs lamb breast, separated into two pieces. 2 tbsp olive oil. 2 tsp ground cumin. 1 tsp ground black pepper. 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano, thyme, basil). 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1 tsp ground coriander. 1/2 cup chopped Italian flat leaf parsley, minced. 1/3 cup white wine vinegar. 1 lemon, juiced. 2 cloves garlic, crushed. 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. This was a really nice change from your typical meatloaf. The sauce tasted as though it had some wine in it, but I think it was just the shiitake mushrooms. Opus Restaurant, City Centre. Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve posted a review but we thought we’d return with a Christmas special. We perused through many Christmas menus and decided to try Opus Restaurant, located within the Colmore Business District. Opus Restaurant claims to source market fresh food and offered a traditional as well as modern take on a Christmas menu. Monday – Friday: 12pm – 2:30pm, 6pm – 10pm. Saturday: 6pm – 10pm. Our waitress was fantastic, perhaps the best service so far!
