An alternative approach to event planning. June 6, 2012. Gourmet To-Go and Prepared Goods. Waiting for a friend to finish a call while we were touring Southeast Portland, I wandered off and stumbled across a small pod of food carts. Noting my stomach’s responding rumble of hunger and the bar crawl. Scheduled for the evening ahead, I assessed the lineup of eccentric trucks in front of me. Any menu suggestions if this were your first and only trip to Dumps, I asked? 8211;Written by Maryann Hoyt. Craven tow...

An alternative approach to event planning. June 10, 2012. Gourmet To-Go and Prepared Goods. My love affair with Sofra Bakery. Started one cold morning in December, while visiting a childhood friend in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Having just flown in from sunny, Charleston, SC. I began my first morning begging for caffeine to brighten my view of the skies… Mollie, not being a coffee drinker, or a morning person, immediately shooed me out the door and into the snow to find my own. And prepared mezzes to enjo...

A Blog for Me and Dear Friends. Food Mission →. February 7, 2012. It’s better late than never to start blogging in 2012! I always find January as a blah month and thus I really had nothing to report! But things look brighter on the horizon so here gos nothing. Lets start with… New Years resolutions! 1 Read a book a month. I have signed up for the goodreads. 2 We have come up with the 2012 Restaurant list! It was so much fun to try new places in our city. Without further ado:. Fran’s Filling Station.

Bows and Browns: June 2013
http://bowsandbrowns.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 20, 2013. Big Fish, Big Bugs, North Georgia. Green Drake, N. Georgia in June. My blog post are about as frequent as my Green Drake sightings. I was fortunate to fish a green drake hatch on the Nantahala 2 years ago, but my closest experience with an actual specimen was during a Tuesday night Hee Haw style hoe down in Georgia the second week of June this summer. Goldne Stones and a Caddis. The fishing wasn't too bad either. The Hoe Down That The Green Drake Crashed. View my complete profile.

Monday, July 15, 2013. Carp Vid from the Local (Big Cicada Dry Flies). This short was stolen from S.C.O.F. S latest release. Ryan of Bent Rod Media frequents the local and does a stellar job fishing and making videos. Labels: carp on the fly. Saturday, July 13, 2013. All Gold Err'thang (carp). After probably 15 outings and more than years worth of moons, I finally intentionally. I caught three more this week. Here are some more pics. Labels: carp on the fly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Bows and Browns: Christmas (lights-out) Trout
http://bowsandbrowns.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-lights-out-trout.html
Sunday, December 29, 2013. Here is a tale of two trout trips. They take place on the same stream about a week apart, but are as dissimilar as Waffle House and a Japanese express food joint. Ok, maybe thats a bad simile. Japanese Express and Waffle house food may be eerily alike. Regardless of the the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde highs in the 70's and lows in the teens during the same week, I fish when my schedule allows, not when conditions are perfect. Matt navigating the gorge. My Christmas Tree streamer.

Thursday, June 5, 2014. He lead on the South Holston last fall. Apple slices dipped in Heath laden "bossy sauce" can raise your spirits like Lee Greenwood on the Waffle House juke box. I'm proud to be an American, and God bless the bossy sauce. If your lucky, maybe you can bring along a Cajun to sweeten the day. Labels: blue ridge anglers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
