My light, my guide. I need moments to lament. The calling I can’t pursue. For its template was washed off Afrika’s face. A destination with no clear path. Either as dreams or memory. Origins without a trace. Sometimes tempted to lay a claim. To deny the hovering cloud its day. And allow the heart to finally mourn.
