Thursday, April 11, 2013. Spring Break Day 3. We spent the morning and early afternoon at Pretend City in Irvine. My initial impression of the place was that it was overrated and overpriced. However, the kids LOVED it. Sunday, January 13, 2013. This is one of those, "why don't we do this more often" activities! We had a little time to kill before getting home for naps, so we stopped at a tiny little playground. The fence separates it from a horse stable and while we were there, a woman was out walking a horse. The kids walked over to say hi and pet him, and the woman offered them each a ride. Sunday, March 17, 2013. So proud of my little skiiers! They did soooo amazingly well! And more importantly, they both absolutely loved it. When asked if they liked skiing better than Disneyland, skiing won for Aidric and Disneyland only slightly edged out skiing for Juliet and her reasoning was that she got to have cotton candy at Disney :). Saturday, June 1, 2013. He had a GREAT birthday yesterday. One of the traditions we have (dating back to my childhood! Is getting to choose your meals all day. So, he started with overnight, no cook oatmeal, a bagel, morning star sausage and a pear.
