http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2011/09/tiger-213-la-gleize.html
A World in 1/35. Thursday, 8 September 2011. Tiger '213' La Gleize. Well finally got to La Gleize this year. Was it worth the walk? You bet, the presence of this silenced sentinel is awe inspiring. I conducted a small photographic survey of the vehicle. So here are the images! Oh and many apologies for my protracted absence. Well worth the walk and the wait! Anybody want to do a '213' 2011, be my guest! 25 September 2011 at 20:26. Http:/ dioramanet.blogspot.com/. 25 September 2011 at 20:27.

A World in 1/35: August 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Wednesday, 25 August 2010. More from the 'Dark Interior'! And welcome to everyone who is following these 'Tiger Tales'. Now that summer is finally abating, and normal service with the weather gets back to regional regularity, I hope to really get these poor neglected Big cats back up to speed. So that is where it stands until I return home next week, hopefully with a camera full of pictures of the La Gleize Tiger Ausf B , formerly of the 2nd Kompanie of the s.SS.Pz.Abt 501. There appears...

A World in 1/35: April 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Sunday, 25 April 2010. My Tiger torturing comrades! Normal service looks as though it is on the horizon! Along with the North west of England's 'standard' weather pattern! So activity is blossoming up the workbench, in all earnest. Or maybe that should be 'Ernst'? Panther on the way perhaps? With a little spare time coming my way, I have managed to get some more 'Tiger trashing time' in! As when I tested a one the end fillet separated under the stress of the folding with the pliers.

A World in 1/35: February 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Thursday, 25 February 2010. The 'spattered mud' effect on the exhaust shrouds was realised by 'blasting' air from the airbrush over a heavily loaded brush, heavy with a mix of pigments, pastels and fixatives. (P.V.A. and MIG Productions). Right then off to the others kitties in the litter! Back soon, Cheers Phil. Thursday, 4 February 2010. Now that this Tiger is nearing completion, my thoughts turn to the next Tigers upon the 'workbench horizon'! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scratchmod 'T...

A World in 1/35: November 2012
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Friday, 9 November 2012. Apologies for my absence! Thankfully my daughter's (and my wife's) health has improved and so I'll be finding time to get back on track - literally! Thanks to the well-wishers and those who have kept interested.in the meantime, please have a look at my art blog (just skip past the strange half naked women, we all have to pay the bills somehow! I've started painting tanks to remind myself of how tanks actually look! Http:/ artbyappleyard.blogspot.co.uk/.

A World in 1/35: January 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Sunday, 3 January 2010. Here's what I've been up to recently, a whole ambush of Tigers! Not all are completed (there's a surprise) but I do aim to , eventually, create a diorama of Villers Bocage, both Allied and Axis and to blog it here. Thanks for dropping by, but this blog isn't currently much to look at! Please come back soon when hopefully more will have been uploaded. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tiger and Modelling Sites. A World in 1/35: November 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Wednesday, 3 November 2010. And a race track! I have finally managed to wheedle out some time to post some images of the trip to the Ardennes, that I took at the end of August. Unfortunately because of the race weekend, it was difficult to navigate south of the track, especially near Stavelot and La Gleize. So I did not get to see '213' of the 2./s.SS.Pz.Abt.501. Perhaps next year I can get to the area early before the Grand Prix mayhem breaks loose? Heading down from Rivage toward Pouho...

A World in 1/35: March 2010
http://barkmannscorner.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A World in 1/35. Sunday, 28 March 2010. One shadowy area of Zimmerit that I have not pasted onto the Tiger yet is the Bow Glacis Apron! I hear you say, well do you know that unlabelled piece of plate that adjoins the Bow plate, and the Glacis plate, that also forms the roof for the transmission? That's the BGA, or for want of an 'official term' what I call it. Thank you for taking the time to visit. Back real soon. Cheers Phil. Monday, 22 March 2010. Now by using a technical pencil to map the damage and ...
