http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2015/08/day-6-in-china-saturday-august-8th.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Day 6 in China - Saturday August 8th. Yesterday afternoon we took the kids swimming to the pool in our complex. It was an enjoyable afternoon. And, so HOT. We ran into a branch member as we were walking home and she said it was in the 90's but real feel was 120. No wonder. We were able to open a Chinese bank account which will help us access our funds. A few things that I have noticed in the last 24 hours:. Last night we decided to order food and couldn't communicate our address w...

Darrington Diaries: July 2014
http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 25, 2014. 24th of July 2014. We had such a great day! I don't think we took a single picture to document it. I was too busy enjoying it to stop and capture it. (Maybe Marcus did but I didn't - something I am sure I will regret in 20 years). We woke up early (so hard after a late night with Paige who was struggling for some unknown reason) and participated in the temple to temple 5K. It was so fun! In the evening we had dinner with Grandpa and Aunt Lindsey. Afterward the ward had the pion...

Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Week 2 - Life in China (A post I started but didn't finish and forgot about). We are still working to get ourselves set up in China. One thing I have learned. Nothing is easy in China. Everything is complex, even simple tasks. My friend told me that every time they go back to the states they are amazed at how quickly they can complete a to-do list. I am beginning to see why. Marcus set up a bank account and had to wait in line for two hours. He went first thing in the morning.

Darrington Diaries: September 2014

Monday, September 15, 2014. I have had the chance to coach three of Will ' soccer games this year. It has been fun. His team is really good. There are three kids that can really take control and score. I have always wanted to have plays that I could call and have the kids take to a formation. I was able to make it work with two plays. First one is Great Wall Of China. When ever you want them to make a defensive line I will call out ,"Great Wall Of China! Good tines. Good times. Friday, September 12, 2014.

Saturday, October 26, 2013. Ainsley's Birthday Party 2013. My posts are all out of order this year but I figure it is better to have them out of order than not at all. Last weekend we had Ainsley's birthday party. She was adamant that she have a Barbie birthday party so that is what we did. Marcus threw together a great poem for her invitation (it takes him about five minutes and takes me 2 days). It's Ainsley's birthday and we want to celebrate. Come join us this Saturday, we can hardly wait. Paige was ...

Wednesday, August 28, 2013. After texturing the walls and ceiling of our master bedroom we decided to rip up the carpet and use the wood floors underneath. What a difference! I don't know that we will keep it long term. I think we have decided that we like carpet in our bedrooms but for now it is awesome! Much better than old stinky carpet. House Projects - Bathroom Progress. What your kids do when you and another mother tile your bathrooms. This is after cutting it in half and almost finished redoing.

After Paigey's nap we headed to our local "private pool".at least that is how it feels. Will affectionately calls it Grandpa's cool:). Monday, May 27, 2013. Friday, May 10, 2013. The perfect day at the pool.

Darrington Diaries: November 2013
http://marcusandbritt.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Yesterday morning I was awakened at 5:45 by Reagan -she happened to be sleeping next to me. She was awake for the day. Reagan inherited her Dad's early morning genes and every now and then will wake up extra early. I was delirious and didn't give it another thought. Why were my kids awake before 6 am (two days after daylight savings), and why were they fighting? Will ended up crashing after lunch and slept for four hours. I tried waking him several times after 2 hours....

Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Angel Moroni - Provo City Center Temple. It has been quite a week. Yesterday we were able to witness the Angel Moroni being placed on the top of the new temple. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday but due to poor weather forecasted, was moved up a day. We are lucky we didn't miss it. What a week for my eight year old. Being able to attend the historic Women's meeting AND the placing of the Angel Moroni! I hope it is a week she will always remember. What a fabulous experience!
