Thursday, September 19, 2013. Yellowstone National Park - Day 4. We had another early start today knowing that we’d be doing a lot of driving, as we planned to explore the Canyon Village and Tower-Roosevelt areas of Yellowstone. Of course, we passed bison along the route. Our first stop was the brink of the Lower Falls, a steep, paved trail where one can see the 37,417 gallons per second water plunging overt the edge. RVing and Travels...Adventures with Suzanne and Brad: KOA, Cascade Locks, Oregon
http://rvingandtravels.blogspot.com/2013/09/koa-cascade-locks-oregon.html
Tuesday, September 24, 2013. KOA, Cascade Locks, Oregon. We are staying at the KOA in Cascade Locks. Oregon for one night as we continue our travels. The campground is quite convenient, just off the interstate, but really not much – smallish, a bit run-down and a very loud train very nearby. (Question of the day is it really necessary for a train to toot their horn 5-6 times in a small period of time? It’ll work for one night! Reminder our rig and truck are for sale! Saturday, September 21, 2013. Yellowstone National Park – Day 6. Now that we’ve explored so much of Yellowstone, we thought it would be fun to go back to the Lamar Valley (northeast in the park) to the kill site from a couple days ago to see if we could spot some of the famous (or infamous, depending on your position) wolves of Yellowstone National Park. The first two photos are of two male grizzlies who were not far from each other, basically on opposite sides of the river/stream in the photos. We have ...
