What Does The Voss Say?: October 2014
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Monday, October 27, 2014. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." This phrase aptly describes the French Revolution, as Dickens intended it to, but also my week! I'll start from worst and go to best though. Mostly, everything turned out well! When I started my mission, I knew it would be hard; I'd heard that from too many people to not believe it. But I also knew it would be amazing! Later that night I was feeling shaken, and just wished I could call my Mom or someon...

What Does The Voss Say?: June 2015
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Monday, June 29, 2015. The start of this past week was so cold, we were wearing winter coats, yet halfway through it got so warm and sunny that we were wearing short sleeves and I got a couple of hilariously bad sunburns- like you can see exactly the lines where my sleeves covered my shoulders, and the neckline, for example. I need to get back into the habit of daily sunscreen! Sand Volleyball. So fun! Just for a few hours on p-day :). Tennis on a clay court. The guy we met last w...

What Does The Voss Say?: Our Eternal Potential
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015/08/our-eternal-potential.html
What Does The Voss Say? Sunday, August 2, 2015. This week was wonderful! And Sister Goodman and I both learned a lot about Dutch, as well! This view is crazy! Me with the incredible city of gent. On Wednesday we had interviews with the Bunnells and district meeting. It was fantastic! I love President and Sister Bunnell and know they are supposed to be here! They are prepared to meet our needs and guide the missionary work here in Belgium and the Netherlands. They are awesome! With mayonnaise, of course.

What Does The Voss Say?: November 2014
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Member missionaries are the best! Well, this week has been a roller coaster! As usual, mostly awesome things have occurred though. We've begun teaching the niece and mother of another investigator we have, and it's really cool to teach families and see them progress together! This was an advertisement for a flower shop in Zwolle that was super beautiful! Can you imagine pancakes for dinner? Also, this week we were invited to an incredible, elaborate, ...

What Does The Voss Say?: Bike Safety and Counting Blessings
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015/08/bike-safety-and-counting-blessings.html
What Does The Voss Say? Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Bike Safety and Counting Blessings. Ik zal snel zijn deze week. We waren druk, dus ik ben moe, maar nog enthousiast. Ik hou van zendingswerk! We found an awesome windmill. Last p-day was great because we actually stayed in our own city and caught up on a lot of stuff, including naps. Some things just need to be done :) We also, finally, bought our helmets! Have you fallen a lot? And proceeded to tell us that only children need helmets. No worries haha.

What Does The Voss Say?: August 2014
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Wednesday, August 27, 2014. A Joyful Message to Share. It's been another wonderful week at the MTC! At our devotional yesterday one of the speakers mentioned a Gordon B. Hinckley quote about how the three things a missionary should do are 1. Smile 2. Smile and 3. Smile. I thought, woohoo! I've got this one! Even if the language is hard sometimes. Dutch Zusters with our flags! So speaking of the language, who wants to learn some Dutch? We said goodbye to the 12 crazy Danes and 3 aw...

What Does The Voss Say?: April 2015
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Thursday, April 30, 2015. I love being a missionary! Happy Saturday everyone- our p-day got moved across the whole mission this week, because Monday is a national holiday- Konings Dag, or King's Day! Everyone will be out on the streets, so we as missionaries in every city will have a booth where we will pass out copies of the Book of Mormon and just talk to as many people as we can. Thus today is our free day, temporarily like the rest of the world :). A member here, Ethlyn's bike...

What Does The Voss Say?: September 2014
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Monday, September 29, 2014. I've finished my first full week here in Nederland, and it was fantastic. I have lots of fun things to share from this week. My first full day in Nederland. Can you see why I think it's a fantasy land? First of all, I finally made my own personal hilarious language mistake, so I can share that instead of other people's! Almost everyone has littler filler thinking words that we say when our brains are working to think as fast as our mouths, right? Anothe...

What Does The Voss Say?: March 2015
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Monday, March 30, 2015. Birthday fun and Easter Joy! This week was my birthday week! It was fabulous. I'm super grateful for the love and extra thought I've experienced from family and friends, both here in the Netherlands and back home throughout the past week! Monday was an awesome p-day. All of the missionaries in Den Haag ward went to the beach! But chilly. So we didn't stay too long! Missionary Dinner at Rodizio! The bummer of the week is that Sister Bradley really wasn't fee...

What Does The Voss Say?: February 2015
http://zustervoss.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
What Does The Voss Say? Monday, February 23, 2015. Every week feels so long and full that by the end, Sister Dobler and I look at our planners and journals and say incredulously about things we did on Tuesday, "Wait, that happened this week? We biked a lot this week. I know I'm a seasoned sister missionary, but at the end of a couple of intense days I had sore legs! Kind of a miracle that we saw him again, that he had read and was so positive. So that was really cool! One of them had served as a missiona...
