Aaron and I have been dreaming of a getaway trip for quite some time now- in fact ever since we went to Park City. Two and a half years ago! I got the idea in my head a couple weeks ago that we needed to make our trip happen NOW before summer craziness sets in. So I texted my mom and Ginny while they were in Italy and asked if they could come stay at our house with Eleanor while we had a night out. They said "yes! Fall Break {A Park City Get-Away}. A couple weeks back we decided we needed to do something to re-gain our sanity. I was exhausted from school and tired of not being with Aaron very often. We noticed my Fall Break was coming up (meaning I had an entire, glorious Thursday, Friday and Monday off! So we did something very. And perused Park City shops. Eleanor took her first real steps this past Friday! She has pretty much showed no real interest in walking solo up until this point so it was fun to see her finally figure it out. We were hanging out in the living room when I set her down facing her dad. He motioned for her to walk towards him as he always does but this time she actually moved her feet instead of just dropping to a crawl. I was dreading it because the last time I went to the DMV in California it took me 3 hours. One hour waiting outside and another 2 inside. So I wasn't looking forward to another DMV experience.
