Sunday, August 31, 2008. Chewy Yam Glutinous Rice Balls/Cubes. Homemade yam glutinous balls, so "Q" so chewy :p They can be enjoyed in both hot sweet soup or chilled shaved ice desserts. 110 g Glutinous rice flour. 130 g Mashed yam. A pot of water. A bowl of ice cold water. Add the sugar and glutinous flour in a bowl and mix well. Add in the mashed yam and water and mix well and knead to form a dough. Cover and rest the dough for 20 minutes. Add them to hot sweet ginger soup or chilled desserts. Enjoy.

Bacon with noodles served with garlic bread. The noodles were springy and infused with the flavours from the bacon. The aromatic garlic bread was nice and crusty on the outside, fluffy and soft on the inside, yummie :p. Chicken Noodle Vegetable Soup*. Clear chicken soup with cubes of chicken, vegetables and mushrooms. Awww isn't it pretty?

Sunday, December 28, 2008. This a little something i made for a year-end tea session later this afternoon. It's a slight variation to the previous. I replaced the pandan extract with 1/2 teaspoon of pandan paste. Soft, fluffy and delicious. I hope they'll like it :). Han's Cafe @ Far East Plaza. I enjoy dining at. Marshmallows are an added benefit, whether already in the package or added fresh. And adding an extra splash of milk makes it even creamier.
