A look inside my brain. Daddy Date at I.H.O.P. Several weeks ago, we drove past an IHOP. Lauren saw the sign and asked what the letters stood for. When I told her that it stood for the “International House of Pancakes,” she immediately asked to go there–right that moment. I told her that I’d take her there on a date sometime, and right away Megan said “take me too! 8221; Then Megan started talking about how much she loved the blue roof. (Blue is her favorite color, of course.). That would be awesome!

A look inside my brain. Why do I need all these people to pray for me? January 28, 2009. It was especially cool when some friends ( Dan. Made an audio recording of their boys (Will and Aiden) praying for Lauren and sent it to us. It was neat to watch Lauren’s reaction as she listened to her friends praying for her. A look inside my brain. IHOP let me down. If you’ve read this entry. I asked the girl at the register to fix the bill, and we had the following conversation. Her “No, I can’t. Kids don’t eat free today.”. Me “Excuse me? Her “Kids eat free on weekdays now.”. Me “When did that start? 8220;Last Saturday.”. We show up with 5 kids on what turns out to be the first Saturday that kids don’t eat free, and no one says anything until we have to pay?
