I bought about 6 skeins of Blackstone Tweed in this really mellow green from Downtown Knits. Little did I know it was hella fragile, like pulling on it hard broke it. Hope the bind offs hold! I did a Bonita Hat. It took 1.5 skeins. Tweaked the mittens so they’d fit. A couple rows longer in the hand, an extra row of shells in the gauntlet, I hook instead of K. And, really, a K hook?

This pattern is great for when I just need something to keep my hands busy. It's simple and I have it stuck in my head pretty well. I wish I could get the Queen Anne scarf stuck like that but I evidently have filled up those brain cells with information about Marc Singer's oeuvre. Thursday, February 25, 2010. Asking if I could / would make fingerless mitts for some of the cast members. She even had a pattern in mind: Easy Crochet Wristers. From Coats and Clark. A pretty simple pattern even if it is sock weight and done with a C (C! Hook All chains, single crochets and a few rows of fpdc / bpdc. The first attempt was done with Hobby Lobby's.
