Life with an easy baby… | Adventures in Fatherland

http://www.adventuresinfatherland.com/index.php/2010/02/life-with-an-easy-baby

Tales of a journey through infertility into (hopefully) fatherhood. On Feb 20th 2010 at 9:21 am. Life with an easy baby…. Emerson is now nearly two weeks old. And, life has been running very smoothly in Fatherland. At the heart of it all, E is simply a great baby! She’s not fussy and doesn’t cry excessively. Indeed, she basically just cries when she wants/needs something. Once her need is addressed, she settles down immediately. I think I read that a ‘typical’ two week...She seems to be in good health an...

Tales of a journey through infertility into (hopefully) fatherhood. Archive for the 'Life' Category. On May 13th 2010. Long time, no post…. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Honestly, I’m too busy living life these days to have much time to write about it. Last weekend, we celebrated Mother’s Day. This was very emotional for L (not surprisingly), as one year ago she was in the midst of stimulating for IVF cycle #1 and now she’s a mommy (and an excellent one at that). She’s really...We ha...

Tales of a journey through infertility into (hopefully) fatherhood. Archive for the 'Birth' Category. On Feb 16th 2010. Emerson’s birth story…. All is well with Emerson. I’ll post more about the first week later. But, as promised, here are the ‘notes’ I kept on my iPhone (slightly polished and edited) about Libby’s labor and Emerson’s birth story. I wanted to get them online before time slipped away and I forgot. Saturday, February 6, 2010. 2:30pm Ate late lunch at Red Lobster. 10:30 Nurse checked L: min...

My journey through infertility. Posted February 13, 2013 by madbooklove in Uncategorized. Yeah so, I think about writing every day because, let’s face it…for the first time in a long time…I’ve got nothin’ but time. I imagined this recovery period to be something quite different than what it has turned to be. Not being in full control and struggling with that, I expected. Ditto for not being primary caretaker of my kids (and really,. The same. Maybe he was a little burnt out. More likely, he wasn&...And t...

My journey through infertility. Laquo; New Address. Posted January 29, 2013 by madbooklove in Uncategorized. As I mentioned before, I thought this downtime after my surgery would be a good time to start blogging again. That said, I wasn’t sure how much I would actually blog or what exactly I would write about. I didn’t think that it would be anything particularly intense or deep. Mostly updates on the kids. Not to. I just don’t. Anyway, I’ve once again gone on and on and on. You’d think I...At some point...

Halloween, followed by the babies’ birthday, then Turkey Day, Christmas, SS’s birthday, and mine! All within like 10 weeks. And who does all the planning, shopping, and preparing? Yes, I’m feeling overwhelmed. And this recent news…I’m just not going to let it push me over the edge. My Guide to California.

Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Catching up and heading off. Today is my very last day in Fremantle and I see it's been well over 2 months since my last post. It feels like about 4 days to be honest.
