In many ways, the gospel is the very antithesis of culture. Instead of self-sufficiency, Christ asks us to surrender to and depend completely on him (Jn 15.5). Instead of self-assertiveness, Jesus calls us to deny the self (Lk 9.23). Do we emulate culture where we ought to be countercultural, while at the same...

The Taylors

Thursday, May 14, 2015. Wednesday, February 4, 2015. We spent Christmas in Georgia. It was great spending time with family! Packing for Christmas was a little tricky. We bought several suitcases at Goodwill to help fly our new toys home! Do you love the "choke" hold on Evie? Santa's elves minus one. Evie got to see the battle grounds from the Civil War. The Confederacy guarded the Atlanta by setting up cannons on the mountain. We had a day of beautiful sunny weather, which called for a picnic at the park!
