Scott in AmeriCorps NCCC

Monday, June 8, 2009. I posted recently, but in an attempt to be more responsible with this blog, here’s another one! Pictures are all at the end of the post. I’m pretty rushed while writing this because I don’t have much time, but here it goes…. I’ve settled into my new home in Wyoming and I’m loving it here. The owners of a ranch here in Parkman, Wyoming were kind enough to host my entire team in some of the houses they have. The amenities are very nice! This weekend I went hiking, which was amazing!

Friday, February 6, 2009. How I Miss You, Dear Internet. That's correct - I don't have the internet here in Mississippi. I'm currently at the Waynesboro Public Library, but they block certain sites and other functions, so I can't make a proper update. I have lots to say about my spike in Mississippi so far and I have plenty of media to share with you too, but I guess that will have to wait! That's all for now. I've got limited time and resources when it comes to the internet. Hopefully my next sp...I say...

I'd argue that I didn't have the internet in Los Angeles, but I've been here in Sacramento for nearly a week and I've only gotten around to updating this blog now. I should have done it much earlier, especially since a whole lot of people have been visiting recently! I recommend reading it too, however. There are some interesting things written in this one. There is a lot to South L.A. that I didn't kn...Anoth...

Sunday, January 18, 2009. Lafayette H4H and Round III Reveal. Working with Habitat for Humanity was excellent! Every day I got to work with my hands, which is what I've really been looking forward to doing. Most of my work days involve moving large pieces of lumber, painting, cleaning and hammering lots and lots of nails. Above: Ryan, Katie and Rebecca up in the trusses. Above: Katie enjoying painting. Above: Erin painting. I really like this picture. Above: Erin holding Katie's ladder. Still, the Lafaye...

our burgeoning family

The tears of a Mama. Lately I have not known how to handle myself. I have been watching the swift changes in my nearly 1 year old son and I think back to a year ago. As I held my son in the hospital I felt the contentedness of a new Mama. I never thought I'd feel that. The newness of it all was overwhelming, his little toes, his little mouth, hit little tiny body! How shameful, I never realized the gift of the days with little baby Liam. I want those days back. I will never get those days back. 21 Coupon...

A York Kind of Day. Sneak peak inside our little families life! Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Goodbye Summer and hellooo Fall! As we move on into quite possibly the best season of all, I can't help but think about all the good times we had over the summer. We learned that Connor is NOT a huge fan of large swimming pools.crazy I know! Let's see, we also figured out that our child is going to be a boxing champ! Needless to say we've had to restrict him from doing this so often! As for the rest of our summ...

The Scott Family Blog

The Scott Family Blog. Monday, December 7, 2009. Our Adoption of Brady Alexander Peter Scott. Our family was asked to be featured in an upcoming adoption newsletter. Here is our story. As soon as we met Brady, we knew! We know this may sound simple, but in your heart, when you first see the child who could become your son, you have an indescribable feeling and connection to him. Brady took to us immediately as well, laughing and cuddling as we spend the first few days with him. Posted by Jennifer Scott.

Watts Family

Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Ok so I have been so bad about updating this! I did have the baby. We had her on July 9th at 4:20 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. We named her Kaiya Ryan Watts. She is absolutely adorable! So we went in and I already lost that night of sleep:) So we went in and they gave me Potossin to start my contractions and get me dilating. Well that process took me all day! Anyway were doing good and she will be one month old on Friday already! Saturday, March 20, 2010.
