The mountain that still stands free. My name is Afshin. I was born in Tabriz, Azerbaijan, Iran. This is my official website dedicated to my beloved father Masoud who loved a mountain in the North-West part of Iran which is called “Cantall”. I have many memories from the time we spent climbing, hunting and enjoying the nature of this great and peaceful mountain together. I will slowly work on this website and try to add more pictures and articles as the time goes by. Thank you for visiting my site.

The mountain that still stands free. July 5, 2009. Cantall is famous for wild cougars and its untouched nature. Bābak Fort, also known as the Immortal Castle or Republic Castle, is a large citadel on the top of a mountain in the Arasbaran forests, which is located 16 km southwest of Kalibar City in northwestern Iran.
