The Towel-Eating Dog: Father's Day
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2012/06/fathers-day.html
June 25, 2012. I realize Father's Day was more than a week ago, but I am just now having time to post. We started Father's Day at church. When we got home, my parents brought over home-cooked breakfast. After breakfast, my dad and Doug opened presents. Weston, the dogs and I got Doug splatter screens for cooking, a DVD he wanted and made him a candy card. We got my dad a movie theater gift card. He really enjoys seeing movies. When we finished opening gifts, we all took a nap. It's our thing. Ha. Small F...

The Towel-Eating Dog: July 2011
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
July 1, 2011. Weston's Labor and Birth Story. Later in the day, I received a call saying that my induction would be on Wednesday, June 30th and that I needed to be at the hospital at midnight that morning. I kept hoping that in the next 4 days, I would naturally go into labor. Apparently my stubborn son thought better of it, because we made it to midnight on June 30th with no overly exciting progress. So, on Tuesday. My cervix. They then told me I had to lay flat for the next several hours and to try...

The Towel-Eating Dog: January 2012
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
January 10, 2012. Congratulations to Alabama for winning the National Championship. Y'all played harder and obviously wanted it more. LSU just didn't show up. They didn't try and looked like a pee-wee team, not like one that won 13 games in a row. I don't entirely blame the coach, since he did coach the team to the aforementioned 13 wins in a row. I blame the quarterback and offense for not using logic and adapting when the plays they were trying didn't work. January 9, 2012. Anyway, off my soapbox. ...

The Towel-Eating Dog: What Have I Done?!
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2012/08/what-have-i-done.html
August 8, 2012. What Have I Done? I have a doctor's appointment this morning. As much as I'd like the doctor to give me an induction date so that this long, painful, sickly pregnancy can come to an end, I don't want to know when the last day with just Weston will be. I'd also like to go into labor on my own, since I had to be induced with Weston too. Weston is not going to get all of the attention anymore. How will he deal with that? Weston is only two and has no idea what is about to occur in his life.

The Towel-Eating Dog: June 2011
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 29, 2011. On This Day Last Year. A year ago today, Doug and I knew that it was our last day to be just a couple. That night at midnight, we were going to the hospital for me to be induced. A nurse practitioner student checked me for dilation, and I was pretty sure she was checking my tonsils and hadn't clipped her nails in many months, hence the painful aspect. The Towel-Eating Dog: February 2012
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
February 14, 2012. Happy Valentine's Day y'all! I've had a rough month , but hopefully I'm on the mend. Doug and I went out to dinner. Weston stayed with my parents. It was a very nice evening. In honor of Valentine's Day, I'm going to fill out a survey. Boring, I know, but at least I'm posting. How long have you and your significant other been together? How did you meet? What’s your love story? If married, how long have you been married? 2 1/2 years next month. Big or small wedding? He brings me flower...

The Towel-Eating Dog: Mo Isom
http://wakingupatwalmart.blogspot.com/2012/05/mo-isom.html
May 21, 2012. As I have previously mentioned, I am a HUGE fan of LSU. I was going to go there for college, but ended up staying in Florida. My aunt and uncle went to LSU and Fall 2013, my cousin is planning on going there as well. As you may or may not have heard, there is a girl trying out for the men's football team. She wants to be the placekicker and has been working out with the team for several months now. S website and read about all of her accomplishments, but also the trials she has been through.
