Fumbling Towards Endurance: Post Transvulcania

http://akrunning.blogspot.com/2012/05/post-transvulcania.html

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Going to Alaska always feels very restorative to me, but this time around it might be a lot more tangible of a restoration than ever before. Not sure how long the whole process will take to rebuild the muscle that I have depleted over the past 21 months, but it feels good to know that the process has now begun. Have you considered scaling back your miles and supplementing some of them with weight training? I personally have found this helpful when experiencing the symptoms you have.

Fumbling Towards Endurance: Salida Marathon

http://akrunning.blogspot.com/2011/03/salida-marathon.html

Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Drove down to Salida. Colorado this past weekend to run in the Run Through Time Marathon. Mostly this was just an excuse to take a road trip, do some camping, check out a town I had never been to (but heard good things about), and hopefully do some decent running on dirt (most of the running I've done in the past 4 months has been on snow). As for the run itself, I had no intention of running very hard as I am racing the Chuckanut. March 15, 2011 at 7:37 AM. Geoff, it was nice fo...

Fumbling Towards Endurance: A Tale Of Two Races

http://akrunning.blogspot.com/2011/04/tale-of-two-races.html

Sunday, April 17, 2011. A Tale Of Two Races. Very interesting race for me down in Arizona this weekend. Considering the way the second half of the race went for me I still haven't figured out how I was able to actually make it to the finish, let alone hold on to win the race with a decent time of 8:13. In the end though, it was a super fun weekend, a great event, and somehow, even though I felt like I was going to pass out for most of the last 25 miles, it was still a really enjoyable and satisfying run&...

A personal squib about my experiences and thoughts on trail running and things associated with it. May 28, 2009 in Uncategorized. This is the way you’re going to be for good and there aint shit you can do about it! And I think this was smart on my part. The next day, yesterday, I felt that area more than I have in the 8 days I hadn’t been running. In fact, I can still feel it a bit today. I’m really not happy. 50 100. Beyond. A Trail Runner’s Blog. http://bradleyswilson.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

In The Midst Of Mountains. Sunday, September 11, 2011. Fall Is In The Air. Over the past week, my early morning runs have started with temperatures between 40 and 50F. With that, my mind moves from the summer season to fall, complete with a warm cup'a joe in hand. So this morning, I couldn't help but scan through some pictures of this summer to remind me of the places my two legs have taken me. I thought I'd share a few:. Nice cool morning run before catching a flight to Tennessee for work. Mountainbula: Not bad for my first Elk Hunt

http://mountainbula.blogspot.com/2009/10/not-bad-for-my-first-elk-hunt.html

The High Times of RBM. Thursday, October 22, 2009. Not bad for my first Elk Hunt. Here are some photos of my first elk hunt near Taos, NM. I shot him at 210 yards, he fell about 20 feet from where he was hit. It took five trips to get the meat out in backpacks, I walked nearly 50 miles with some help to complete the hunt. Laugh 'til You Pee: A Funny Post

Laugh 'til You Pee: A Funny Post. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Fried Green Tomatoes: Feminist Film xtra credit. This was a FABULOUS FILM! It was based on the book Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle. Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg. In 1987 and a best seller. The film was done in 1991 and it is clearly a feminist film with many underlying themes. The most obvious and prominent feminist feature was the character Idgie. Was a tomboy as a kid and never gave up her stubborn and driven ways. She grew into a wild.
