Dave's Allotment: January 2006
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2006. Other than the areas where I still have things growing, the entire plot is now dug over - and many parts of it covered and manured. This is definitely the most organised the plot has ever been. The whole plot is pictured below left, and the Broad Beans under their cover of fleece are shown on the right. Posted by Dave at 1:55 PM. Dave's Allotment: November 2005
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2005. This weekend I also pulled up a handfull of leeks and some more parsnips. Posted by Dave at 1:34 PM. Monday, November 21, 2005. It was a freezing morning with the frost still very much present when I arrived. The steam pouring off the manure was incredible - looked more like a bonfire than a pile of poo! Dave's Allotment: August 2006
http://davesallotment.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 31, 2006. I also bagged up a load of weeds that I had been piling up and took them to the dump. There were also a couple of bags of junk to get rid of from the new plot that the previous owners had left behind. I then pruned out the raspberry canes that had fruited this year, and they went to the dump as well. They'd grown a bit too high to properly cover them in earth, but I raked up the soil around them as best I could (see before and after above). Posted by Dave at 1:54 PM. A few week...

Sunday, May 20, 2012. Faversham Creek rowing race. Poor neglected Nagden Life blog! It was a wonderful sight, all crews in fancy dress and some with ship's dog aboard. After that invigorating start to the day I then went on to dig over the last part of my (long planned) flower meadow - of which another whole post anon. Links to this post. nagdenlife: Swimming.....in the creek
http://nagdenlife.blogspot.com/2011/07/swimmingin-creek.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Swimming.in the creek. Getting a boat seems to have brought out the water babies in the children. No sooner was it launched than they all decided that they wanted to go swimming - the tides were not in their favour so they had to wait until late on Sunday evening. Far too cold for me by then but they were all very game and in they went! Brrrr- going to dress well when we come visit! The kids are heros! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nagden Life on Flickr. We have a boat!
