Ingredients (to serve 4). Moong dal (small grain): 1 cup. Haldi (turmeric) powder: 1 tsp. Salt: ¾ tsp. Whole cumind seed: ½ tsp. Vegetable oil: 2 tsp. Ghee: ½ tsp. Sugar: ½ tsp. Green chili (whole): 2 numbers. Take 2 cups of water in pressure cooker and bring it to boil. Add ½ tsp of oil and salt. Heat rest of the oil in a wok.

Boil 3 lts of water in a pot or sauce-pan. Add rice grains in boiling water. Wait till rice and water starts boiling, then lower the heat. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or till the rice is done. Drain excess water by pouring the whole mixture in colander. Wait for 5 minutes, till all the water has been drained out. Yellow Dal (Chana) 1 cup.

White vinegar: 1 tbs. Onion paste: 2 tsp. Ginger paste: ½ tsp. Garlic paste: ½ tsp. Bread crumb: 1 cup. Oil for frying: 1 cup. Wash and pat dry the fillets. Marinate the fillets with salt, vinegar and onion paste and let it stand for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Take out the fillets, wipe off excess paste.
