Searching for acorns beneath trees in the sanctuary area. Sunday, 28 April 2013. The Redstarts were mainly located by their characteristic alarm call which at times sounded very faint even though the bird was only a few feet away. I heard some snatches of song though I think the weather wasnt condusive to singing. Sunday, 21 April 2013. Black...

Drawings, sketches and paintings of wildlife encountered on travels locally and further afield. Wednesday, 15 May 2013. Red Deer Stags feeding on new lush grass near the pedestrian entrance of Wollaton Park. Their antlers have grown fast since I last saw them and the deer were grazing voraciously no doubt to nourish these copious growths. Monday, 13 May 2013. Pied Flycatcher on his song perch. Male Swallow singing from power cables. Sunday, 12 May 2013. Fledgeling Dunnock found in the garden this morning.

Drawings, sketches and paintings of wildlife encountered on travels locally and further afield. Thursday, 24 October 2013. Black-necked Grebes at Annesley. 3 birds on the far pit spending much of their time under the water. A lovely sunny day with thick cloud approaching. The Hoopoe probably moved on in the good weather. Monday, 21 October 2013. It flew quite fast and direct across the lagoon and perched in a dead Birch tree where it preened before flying off out of view. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Drawings, sketches and paintings of wildlife encountered on travels locally and further afield. Sunday, 24 November 2013. Glossy Ibis. Lowdham. After missing out on seeing the Ibis last week I was hoping it would still be around. It quietly probed the muddy path and blended well with the chunks of exposed mud. Not much bigger than a Magpie it eventually moved further away and was lost behind a hedge. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Glossy Ibis. Lowdham. After missing out on seeing . View my complete profile.

My name is Andrew Martz and I am a multiplayer gameplay engineer. I have a love for writing gameplay code as well as networking code. My ideal job would be somewhere right in the middle where I can make the rubber meet the road, as far as gameplay and networking are concerned. Currently I am attending The Guildhall at SMU. Before coming to The Guildhall, I studied game software development at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Where I worked on Age of Empires Online.
