http://christopherdhall.blogspot.com/2009/04/ok-district-convention.html
This Side of the Pulpit. What the world looks like from here. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. I'll be attending the Oklahoma District Convention Friday and Saturday in Norman, OK. We'll be electing a new presidium, as the current DP is retiring. My understanding is that we will also be electing a completely new slate of district officers, as the current ones. Did not wish to be re-elected. Either declined nominations or were not re-elected. Keep us in your prayers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Like Balaam’s Ass…. Why do sports (and for me, it’s primarily football) continue to compel our attention, even when we’re annoyed or disturbed (and sometimes, it still happens, inspired) by the lives of athletes off the field? One particular passage continues to apply to the Church in general, and to The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in particular:. To which question Sasse spends the rest of the essay giving (or rather confessing) the answer. Becker’s contention is. But two points stand out:. Continue reading →. Like Balaam’s Ass….
