This past week my husband and I packed up everything we owned into a cute little Uhaul and drove ourselves from Denver to California. Two days later we arrived. Within a day, we found a cute and cozy apartment right off of University Ave in Berkeley just a few blocks from the Berkeley Marina. A lot has happened in the past week or so consisting of more San Fran exploration, finding a great church, celebrating being married for one month (wahoo! We have made it so far), making friends, spending time with family and so on. Will he have friends to play with at recess? Will he be able to draw as good as the kids around him? Will they notice if he tastes the glue?

Monday, January 24, 2011. It's a great opportunity to work 2 days a week in the admissions office of the school. It will give me an opportunity to get out of the house and be around other adults (and kids too) - which I was in desperate need of. Sunday, April 17, 2011. Our little man turned one last Sunday, April 10th. Crazy. To celebrate, we threw a little party with some of Trey's favorite people. It was pretty crazy having that many people - especially kids - in our house, but we had a great time. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Last Sunday, Trey took his first steps! The hysterics that follow these steps are a result of him wanting the video camera. It was pretty much impossible to get a video of him where he wasn't throwing a fit because we wouldn't give him the camera. My apologies.
