Treasures from the kitchen. Laquo; Favorite citrus vinaigrette. 2 tbsp chocolate balsamic vinegar. 2 tbsp walnut oil. A couple of grinds of black pepper. In a small bowl, slowly whisk oil into vinegar. Whisk in remaining ingredients. Serve with fruit and cheese. Watermelon and feta is good. Treasures from the kitchen. Laquo; Turducken Smashburgers. This vinaigrette is delicious with hot or cold food and it takes about 5 minutes to make. I have used it as a dressing for greens, chilled and hot asparagus; in sandwich wraps; and over hot salmon. It is very versatile. 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed citrus juice. 2 Tbsp. lemon-flavored olive oil. 1/2 tsp. coarse-ground or Dijon mustard. Use immediately or transfer to a small container and store in the fridge. Shake well before using. From your own site.

Everything and anything to do with the best meal of the day. Laquo; What really grinds my gears…. Every once in a while, I come across a sweet find. This weekend I was at Home Sense in Kelowna I came across these beauties and almost squealed out loud. Circus animal pancake molds. They came in a pack of 3 for about $12. There is an elephant, a lion and a seal with a ball on his nose. They are non-stick and pretty sturdy. I just whipped up a batch of my fav pancake mix and filled em up! These are too cute!
