Beginning in 2012, Eastern Star Lodge was pleased to begin offering a $2,500 scholarship, named for Past Master Bill Johnson, to a Franklin High School Senior who exemplified the three main tenants of freemasonry; Relief, Truth and Brotherly Love. 2012 – Katey Cornett (with WM Steve Kemper, PM Doug Johnson and Jason Faulkner).

Since the inception in 2005, the Antioch Shrine Foundation has annually provided scholarships to high school seniors who have been accepted at a qualified institution of higher learning. Each year students have been selected based on their academic record, school activities, and financial need. Contact the Antioch Shrine for an application or click on the link below. Great Lakes Shrine Association. The Great Lakes Shrine Association is made up of 23 Centers in five states and the Canadian Province of Ontario. An Annual business meeting is held each February. A ceremonial session is conducted each September and is attended by thousands of Nobles from the member Shrine Centers. Inter-Center relationships are maintained throughout the year through correspondence and other contacts, resulting in a high degree of Shrine achievement in the Great Lakes Region.
