Another two months gone, another year nearly ended - Random Thoughts from Grimmauld Place
http://cynthia-black.livejournal.com/654621.html
Random Thoughts from Grimmauld Place. Another two months gone, another year nearly ended. Much as I intended to post more, it really hasn't happened, has it? So what has happened since mid-October? Eldest turned 18. Her 'party' day out to Alton Towers went well, though it was a bit cold. Eldest also put in her University application form - and she's heard back from all of them! Five conditional offers to choose from. Now all she needs are some really good grades next summer. I've been starting to develop...

Draco could so kick your ass at bowling - Fidelius. Draco could so kick your ass at bowling. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». Jan 2nd, 2009 11:59 pm. So my husband bought a Wii from a friend as a gift for our son. One of the most entertaining things about the Wii, as far as I'm concerned, is the ability to create a wide assortment of Miis (customized characters who play in the games). When my husband found and downloaded a Harry Potter Mii, I insisted we needed a Draco right away. Random shot of my h...

What I did during the great internet withdrawal, part II : sketching - la brise. Thu, Apr. 10th, 2008 11:10 pm. What I did during the great internet withdrawal, part II : sketching. So between the olive trees and the horses, I did sketch a bit nonetheless. This is the one I did today. I painted it between 6 and 7:30 pm, and while the sky looks close enough to the real thing at the beginning of the painting session, clouds crept back rapidly afterwards and I was absolutely frozen! I painted the second ske...

Tasty treats from the library of lissanne. Fic: Birthdays, Babies and Broomsticks. Jul 31st, 2008 at 7:02 PM. I don't know about you, but I am thrilled by the news that Jo Rowling is allowing "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" to be published for all of us to enjoy! It comes out December 4, and you can pre-order at Amazon right now. Personally, I like the British cover. Much better than the US cover. I'll have to pick up one of each :D. Birthdays, Babies and Broomsticks. PG-15 for suggestiveness and language.

There needs to be more fiber in my life. No, not dietary… - The Howl
http://loupnoir.livejournal.com/481131.html
A little cynicism to go with the coffee. Jul 30th, 2015. There needs to be more fiber in my life. No, not dietary fiber. Yarn. Finally, I reached a point in the endless sweater design class project where I felt I could haul it in to be poked at. I'd made progress and my right hand had healed up enough that knitting didn't get snagged on bandaids or make my fingers ache. Please pause, cover your ears, because there will now be a high-pitched shrill of happiness. Ahem. SQUEE! 3 comments Leave a comment.

Harry and Ron : Because Best Mates do it better. H/R fic based on fqf prompt. When I needed an idea for an H/R fic for a flister, my muse disappeared, so I raided the unused prompts here. Many thanks to the person who prompted with #69 (Ron wants to give Harry a better memory of Privet Drive). I hope this is okay, mods, but since I got the prompt from one of your wonderful comm members, I thought I should post a link to the fic here. If this isn't okay, please just delete the post.
