Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Never too young for a boyfriend! Our awesome neighbors, Jeff and Diana, had their first baby in August. There little boy, Ty, is just 5 weeks younger than Mia. They had their first "playdate" a few weeks ago when we had them over for our traditional conference brunch. It was so fun watching the two babies start to interact a little. Saturday, August 27, 2011. This girl melts my heart. I cannot even explain the joy. I feel every morning when I get Mia out of her bed. She lays in bed {for who knows how long as she is totally silent! Until I come in to get her - usually around 8:15 or 8:30 {oh yah! Saturday, September 3, 2011. Last week we went bowling with the kids. We always love bowling together - it's fun to see the kids actually improve each time we go {sine we go one or two times a year! We had a blast together, even Mia didn't mind just hanging out! Zac may have beat the other kid's scores but he had a little help ;). Friday, November 19, 2010. Hayden's first NFL Game! The Cardinals happened to be going against Superbowl Champions the Saints and we didn't really think there was a chance of us winning. Well, what do you know - the Cardinals won! This was a great first game for Max Hall, even though the game was won mostly due to our great defense! Friday, August 22, 2008. I am so excited! I've been wanting to can meats for awhile now and I finally did it. Or I should say Mike and I did it. We have 12 pints of chicken canned and ready to put on the shelf. It was so easy! I found fresh chicken breast on sale for $1.69 per pound and bought 13lbs or so and put those lovely breasts into the jars with a little salt and pressure canned them. It was as easy as that! I am definitely going to do more and will be looking for a sale on beef.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. Payton's Family Birthday Party. My BIG seven year old! Payton is absolutely obsessed with Pokemon! He LOVES collecting the cards and so I thought that it would be fun to make him a Pokemon cake! They do not have any kits for those, so we bought a bunch of the caracters from Toy R Us and it worked out great! Blowing out the candles. Tanner was having fun too! Tanner is so funny! He sometimes likes to eat like a dog or cat and not use his hands. Payton got alot of fun new things!
