Audrey's Book Blog

Monday, February 20, 2012. Divergent by Veronica Roth. If you have finished Hunger Games and are looking for the next great read then Divergent is your book! This book has just the right amounts of government conspiracy, danger, mystery, love, and excitement. The Mortal Instrements by Cassandra Clare. What a captivating series this was for me! I know that a lot of people love this book but it was pretty boring to me. I felt like it was a slow read aloud for my class. I loved the movie though. The HUNGER ...

Monday, February 20, 2012. The Mortal Instrements by Cassandra Clare. What a captivating series this was for me! I could not put it down. If you are going to get into this series and you have a thing for happy endings with no clifhangers. stop at book 3. Book 4 picks up after all the happy endings and leaves you and a really horrible cliff hanger :( but I'll have to see how book 5 turns out :) Cannot wait! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Audrey's Book Blog: The Work and the Glory by Gerald N. Lund

http://audreysreads.blogspot.com/2010/12/work-and-glory.html

Friday, December 31, 2010. The Work and the Glory by Gerald N. Lund. I finally read the Work and the Glory! Reading this really made me appreciate all the things that the pioneers went through. I saw the movies before I read the book so I felt like the books were going really slow because I think the first movie has the story from 3 books in it. Anyway I really liked this book. Eddie Rek & Audrey's Punk Kitchen Blog | unapologetic vegan foodies with attitude

Eddie Rek and Audrey's Punk Kitchen Blog. Unapologetic vegan foodies with attitude. December 10, 2011. Enjoying our RAW leftovers. We made just enough raw hummus to where I could savor some leftovers for this morning. And, I couldn’t be happier if I had had health insurance! The raw hummus Audrey prepared is fucking delicious. Excuse my language, but it gets me excited, and tingly. The five days or so it took to sprout the hummus was well worth the wait. Drop us a line if you wanna try! November 7, 2011.

redeemed

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Welp, back into the blogging. It's been a while. Because that is my brother. My sister. And so if that was family, blood relatives, best friends in that place. I would run in there and desire to pull them out of that place. I think that is where the relationship kicks in. Abba, Daddy, how do I love this person.specifically.right now? God of all comfort,. We do...

Poco a Poco

I know where I am headed next: I'm looking into Water Resources/Hydrology masters programs. After seeing how little access the rest of the world (and parts of our country, too) have to clean drinking water, and knowing how much worse it is going to get, I want to work toward solutions to this problem. Last leg of my journey. I spent the past week visiting my old host family in Ecuador (from study abroad '05), with the lovely company of Joy. I didn't do anything new, but I repeated some old favorites:.

the RedFish

Friday, April 6, 2012. That will never make the voyage to my tongue. That will never bare phonetic children. Trapped in the dungeon of my mind. Thoughts that are not at home where they lay. Thoughts that are rusted and faulty. Thoughts that are not familiar. That do no trust their maker,. That are not honest with their creator,. That do not understand their place,. That do not even understand themselves. Patiently not to be. Tuesday, May 3, 2011. We started this in January, I think? Not sure why I didn't...

Audrey's Favorite Recipes

Saturday, April 16, 2011. I love my slow cooker :) Saw a blog about a year ago where she used her slow cooker every day for a year. That might be a bit too much, but once a week works for me! A friend of mine does Lasagna in the crock pot - she gave me her recipe. Might have to try that and see how it goes. But here is a recipe that we really like, it calls for stew meat, but I cut up a round steak I had in the freezer - worked wonderfully! 2 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1" cubes. 1 onion, chopped. In a 2...
