Right now, the USDA is accepting public comments on a plan that would allow farmers to plant 2,4-D (also known as Agent Orange) resistant corn and soy wherever they choose. If passed, this plan could completely disrupt regular crops and lead to a greater increase in the use of dangerous chemicals in our food.
