A year in Bordeaux. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Our Summer in Brief. I haven't posted in over a month, the kid's summer vacation is almost over. We've had a busy summer. Ailbhe, Fiacra, and Finian in Pau. We were very excited to see the Burns family. We spent a few days in the Pyrenees, a few days in Bordeaux and then a week together in Ireland. A year in Bordeaux. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. We always do an advent calendar with the kids. In Canada, we have a Christmas tree with little drawers that we fill with chocolates each year. When you open a drawer, you turn it around before putting it back in, gradually turning your Christmas tree into a Christmas scene. This year, we are going to do Christmas envelopes as our advent calendar. Our friend Tricia. Here are some of our ideas:. Write a letter to Santa. Have a games night. Go out for dinner.
