A Year of Rambling | My journey through 2013
A Year of Rambling. My journey through 2013. Another year has nearly passed. It’s weird to think that it’s been nearly a year since I was here and so much has changed in my life. Right now I am sitting at the edge, trying to keep my head above water and not keep everyone else happy. Health wise I am playing that yoyo game and back to where I was at the beginning of the year. 2012 was a year of doing what made me happy, as I would describe it. This wasn’t overly successful as whilst doing things...To be w...

A Year of Random Kindness
Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Not an End, Only a Beginning. I’ve been dragging my heels a bit in the sand anxious to type up our last random act. A year of reading women. 365 days of women's lit. Mary Wollstonecraft: A Vindication of the Rights of Woman. And so here we are: the final book of the year and the last post of this blog. And what better way to round off this canter through some of the highlights of women’s lit past and present than to leapfrog back a few centuries to one of the early trailblazers? Well, not quite. And there are few texts more qualified to show up the flaws in such short-termism than Mary Wollstonecraft’s. Wollstonecraft...
