And I have embarked on a pretty ambitious side project based on a number of ideas I have had over the last couple of years about using the web to support events and conferences. And eventually things like sales and customer service. So what is Eventstreams? I have realised since we started but unique enough to be relevant I think), integrated Twitter streams, support for tools like Eventbrite. For registration and offe...

https://eventstreams.wordpress.com/2010/10/06/new-deploy-2010-10-06
Eventstreams Update 6/10/2010 →. October 6, 2010. A smaller update this time. A few tweaks to the Paper theme, mainly round the programme layout, it’s still not right but it’s better. Mainly annoyed it’s off grid – must do better but I’m stuck between legibility and wasting space if there is a long programme! 5520916] Add auto styles to body for each page / section. 5328147] Add “booking url” to event. 5517063] Link feedback tab to a standard Contact form. Fix: Tests passing following route changes.

It’s a first pass and I’m awaiting with interest the feedback we get from the testers as I’ve decided to leave the menu blank by default. No links are automatically added when content is created, only made available to add to the menu. 5328290] Need a way to sort automatically created pages, event pages and links. Fix: IE Fixes for Paper theme.

New Deploy 2010-09-26 →. August 23, 2010. Brian wrote an interesting post last week and as it was concerned with events and more specifically events websites he suggested I might wish to comment on it given my work on Eventstreams. Titled Should Event Web Sites Be The First To Be Outsourced? It was partially inspired by the direction Nicole has taken FAM10. There are already many existing free tools to help support events and while Nicoles use of Google Pages. I am hoping these will continue to be alot o...
