poem 7 - Peregrine's Pen

Reflections of an online fall(con). Apr 21st, 2014 at 7:13 PM. People fear what they can see:. With spiny legs;. The sly, slithering predator. Whose fangs stop hearts;. And this relic, her teeth grinning,. Busy basking on stubby legs,. Her rugged skin camouflaged. Atop a glistening log. She hears the faint dip. Of an oar in water and slides in. One great liquid movement. Under the river, invisible. The sun feels like love,. Radiant on her bumpy back. And when she's hungry. Perhaps the occasional puppy -.

A little therapeutic DIY - Keffys Couch. A little therapeutic DIY. Jun 23rd, 2014 08:41 pm. Shpongle - The Epiphany of Mrs Kugla. Summer isn't my kind of season. I'm seldom at my best in summer. If anything, I've been particularly depressed when temperatures started steadily rising above 25 C, a few weeks ago. After a lot of thought, I finally figured out I could probably build my own solution. I love little DIY projects like that, and it kept my mind busy for a few days. Scribble on a scale.

Python class variables and code dupclication - Carsten's blogspot
http://cniehaus.livejournal.com/50639.html
Python class variables and code dupclication. Apr 16th, 2009 at 3:28 PM. I am having a Python problem. I have two classes, both inheriting the class 'Animal'. I want a counter, that means Animal.count of() should return the number of objects. Please have a look at this code:. Animal.number = 1. Animal.number -= 1. Animal. init (self). Animal. init (self). Is there a trick to have one base-class Animal with a counter or do I really have to do everything twice? 31 comments Leave a comment. Apr 16th, 2009 0...

Giza aka Douglas Muths LiveJournal. My FurFright duty hours. Wow, it's been awhile since I've written to my LJ. I want to update here more, but it seems like people are using LJ less and less. Saturday: 8 AM to Noon, 2:30 PM to 4 PM. Sunday: 12 AM to 4 AM, 4 PM to 8 PM. An interesting note is that membership...

I need to do my taxes and call my mother and - wait, my country is - One way ticket to Pluto. 19 March 2011 @ 08:49 pm. I need to do my taxes and call my mother and - wait, my country is bombing Libya now? I feel sick. This happened too fast for an American protest movement to form. And this deserves one, dammit. Does anyone still believe that the people of Iraq or Afghanistan have benefited, on the whole, from our actions there? What is America going to do in Libya? 24 comments Leave a comment. We didn'...

Someone Is Angry On the Internet. May 7th, 2010 at 7:35 PM. My position on so-called "fan fiction" is pretty well known. I'm against it, for a variety of reasons that I've stated previously more than once. I won't repeat 'em here. Http:/ voyagesoftheartemis.blogspot.c. I have a colorful metaphor in mind to describe what this reminds me of, but I won't use it. Metaphors seemed to spark much of the outrage here. Writers have a natural prediliction for the colorful phrase, the striking comparison, b...I am ...

West, finally. - Velos Journal. May 27th, 2011. 10:33 pm - West, finally. Been ages since I last posted here, again. But I figured I might as well put a note here about it. Tomorrow I finally start my move out of Michigan west towards California! This is much later than I wanted, but at least it finally seems to be happening. It's a heck of a long drive ahead, 2400 miles and I need to get there by Thursday. I'll just have a car full of clothes and basic items, and a hotel room once I arrive.
