The system consists out of a 1kw wind generator, 4 x 102 amp hour batteries that gives 48 Volt and an inverter. Most days have been windy from about 10am onwards and the wind tends to drop again around 10pm. (late November to early January). During a high storm with strong wind, the generator was charging at 50% above its rated capacity, that is it was charging at 1.5kw.

Friday, July 8, 2011. I just used a basic 9 X13 cake for this. I cut it length-wise not quite centered and even- probably a 5 inch piece and a 4 inch piece. Then I made some little hollows. Crumb layer with the ruin "walls". Orange layer of frosting. My technique (which may be tweaked if I try this again) was to layer (like paint faux finishing-sort of) white, then orange, then brown.
