Barrow Farm - The Barn Holiday Cottage. Converted in 2011, the cottage is an old stone barn that has been tastefully converted to create comfortable holiday accommodation for two people. The accommodation comprises an open plan kitchen / living room, a shower room with toilet, a bedroom with one double bed and a south west facing sun terrace. All rooms have central heating. Parking is adjacent to the cottage. The living room has a comfortable double sofa, table with chairs plus TV. March 26th - March 31st.

Facilities in the village include a village school, pre-school, shop/post office and a cricket club, which was founded in about 1895. There used to be several mills in the village, one of which has now been converted into The Mill pub. Other pubs in Rode are The Cross Keys and The Bell. As well as a caravan site at Barrow Farm.
