The cottage has a lot of space to eat and cook al fresco in the historic courtyard with many relics of old village life. There are great shore walks to either Baska Voda to the north or Makarska to the south, or up into the mountains, amongst vineyards and olive groves. The ultimate retreat from city life! They wanted to play games, to have fun, to just be kids. We laughed, jumped, and ran. While in a city, I met this little girl. She came and sat on my lap, and almost fell asleep.
