Beautiful Feet around the World

Beautiful Feet around the World. Monday, June 11, 2012. In the village again. We ate a short lunch, in which Gerald tried desperately to teach the locals what “I’m not hungry” means, but they took that to mean, “I don’t have a plate” so they quickly remedied the situation! Elise taught him that if you just take a little rice and push it around some while they’re not looking, it looks like you ate! We left soon after to make sure we were back to the homestead by dark- I was incredibly appreciative of it!

Beautiful Feet around the World: Bus Rides!

http://beautifulfeetaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2012/06/bus-rides.html

Beautiful Feet around the World. Monday, June 11, 2012. June 5, 2012. Today, we were to leave the hotel at 8 am sharp bound for the marketplace en route to the village! About 3 hours down the road, we found out we were about an hour to an hour and a half into our trip, and we were stopping for lunch. It was great food, filling and cheap, and a chance to stretch our weary legs! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In the village again. In the Village, the mighty Village. If it Seems We are CRAZY!

Beautiful Feet around the World: May 2012

http://beautifulfeetaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Beautiful Feet around the World. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Saturday, May 26, 2012. It’s been awhile since I blogged, so I’ve got to shake the dust off and remember how this goes! It was a fast finish to a great year again at Still Creek, and I just finished Thursday, meaning that Africa went into full throttle Friday and today! I’m getting more excited as we get closer to leaving and my nerves are giving way to a fresh anticipation of what awaits us next week! Once again, I ask for your prayers! David Britta...

http://beautifulfeetaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2012/06/if-it-seems-we-are-crazy.html

Beautiful Feet around the World. Monday, June 4, 2012. If it Seems We are CRAZY! June 2/3 2012,. Saturday and Sunday night, we held a crusade near the Korogocho slums that we visited Saturday morning. When we arrived (and hour and a half late! Each night, there was a short message given after a few hours of worship! The first night, Zach preached, giving a clear call to those who had never met Jesus before! We laughed, shouted and made complete fools of ourselves, but all in the name of praising our God!

Beautiful Feet around the World: Life to the Fullest :)

http://beautifulfeetaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2012/06/life-to-fullest.html

Beautiful Feet around the World. Monday, June 4, 2012. Life to the Fullest :). May 31, 2012. Today was another amazing day! I’m sorry, that sounds so cliché. Let me make up for it…. It may not have been that dramatic, but our lessons definitely became more abbreviated as the day went on, with class 1 merely getting the radio broadcast of the gift of a salvation bracelet without the lesson (to be fair, though, they understand very little English, so we’re focusing on the older classes more…). Maybe that&#...

Mission Korogocho: A global partnership to spread God's love, truth, and grace throughout the nation of Kenya. Thursday, May 31, 2012. There is, as always, far too much to write about, so I'm especially grateful to Justin for recapping some of yesterday's events! I am sitting in my room at Ufungamano House (our lodging for this part of the trip, on the University of Nairobi campus) waiting for today's work to start, so I thought I would briefly add a few reflections to Justin's recap. The girls went to w...

Saturday, July 6, 2013. Photos of Kambi Teso. Some of the vegetables that they add to the beans and rice. One of the little boys in the feeding program. Some more of the children in the program. Patrick who is being sponsored to go to school by an American family. He is also in the feeding program. A bird's eye view of the Kam Kunji slum - only seperated from Kambi Teso by the hill you have to climb. Brian - also sponsored to go to school. Just some more of the kids :). These two are such goofs. On Monda...

Enjoying the wonderful world of clyde's ice cream. One of my mom's beautiful plants. I wish i had inherited her green thumb. Crazy peacocks at weeki wachi!

Beautiful Feet in Asia or Elsewhere

Skip to main content. Beautiful Feet in Asia or Elsewhere. Journey and Adventure in Japan. January 30, 2018. A girl and her strawberries. Since moving to Japan right at two months ago (yeah, we survived two months), Im learning that some events are very moving and deeply spiritual, they are the big things but other things in my life are oh so small. However, Im also learning that He still cares for the small even tiny events just as much as the big. . January 13, 2018. December 27, 2017. November 30, 2017.

Just another WordPress.com site. He is faithful…. January 20, 2012. I love these scriptures. And they are repeated several times in the book of Deuteronomy. Why does the Bible instruct us to be so diligent in teaching the commandments? To have them before us literally throughout the entire day, from sun up to sun down. And then down in vs 17 it goes on to not only say that we should keep the commandments before us but also His testimonies. Why? Is it just to keep us from falling into sin? Give She didn&#...
