Tuesday, 24 May 2011. Brooklyn Flea, Williamsburg. I was lucky enough to be in NYC this weekend and an absolute highlight was the Brooklyn Flea. I purchased an original Vignelli. 1972 New York subway guide ($90). Based on our very own tube map, this was in use only until 1979. An iconic piece of graphic design that has since earnt its coveted place at MoMA. Map in the looks stakes . I love the bold and bright colours used for the lines.
