Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Ahhh, they grow up so fast! Last night, as Elle was finishing dinner, I grabbed the video camera. It was the first video I've been able to take of her in a while. She has figured out that she can see herself on the screen so if I pick up the camera, she comes to sit on my lap. Not exactly conducive to capturing a spontaneous act of cuteness! Friday, July 6, 2012. 4th of July in Fairlington. We live in a fairly picturesue neighborhood. That likes to think it is still 1950 sometimes. So on the 4th of July, the neighborhood comes together for a "parade". I use the term loosely because anyone who grew up in northwest Ohio knows it isn't a parade without 17 marching bands, at least 1 farm princess and getting Dum Dum suckers thrown at your head. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Chicago - Trip 3! Yep, 3rd trip to Chicago in less than 2 months. Crazy! But, we were able to squeeze in another visit with Grandpa and Gram Brown! Saturday, September 22, 2012. Cleveland for the Weekend. At the end of July, Aunt Laura and Uncle Jean Marc came from France to the US for a visit. We drove up to Cleveland to see them while they stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Tallers. The girls were able to collect their pottery that they painted during Grandma Taller Camp 2012. Thursday, August 5, 2010. The new nightly ritual. About a month ago, we welcomed new neighbors. During the moving process, the dad promised the kids (2 girls, ages 6 and 8- man, did we ever luck out) a trampoline. So now, every night after dinner, most of the neighbor girls gather on the trampoline for some bouncing. Here's tonight's action. Seeing Evie up that high makes me cringe. One day this week, they all spent 2 hours jumping. It's great for wearing them out before bedtime. Evie and Annalise Taller.

Therefore, I had lunch with a friend, went to Costco alone (and ate all the samples) and then spent the afternoon reading a book and relaxing. Before dinner, I was treated to a show. There were lots of headstands and attempted headstands. And ballet moves. Can you believe this was all set to music?
