Thursday, July 30, 2009. Leslie and I escaped the heat over the weekend of July 25/26 and headed up to Flagstaff. We got a great ride in around the Flagstaff Urban Trails. Through the NAU Campus. Sunday, May 3, 2009. 160;got a bit stuck at work Friday afternoon while Leslie cruised over to LA to visit our friend Dara. I decided to head up into the White Mountains in eastern Arizona to scope out some camping and fishing areas. Highway 60 from Phoenix heads NE from Phoenix through Globe AZ, across the Salt River Valley, up onto the Mongolian Rim and into Show Low AZ. Sunday, June 28, 2009. After hiking down 8miles you reach the village of Supai which is home to 500 Havasupai Native Americans which you can only reach by trail or helicopter. This village helps to define the word "Remote". Another 2 miles below the village and you come across the first of a series of some of the most amazing waterfalls I have ever seen. Monday, April 27, 2009. We met Doug and Jean at the Grand Canyon last weekend and hiked 3 miles down into the canyon. Sunday, April 19, 2009. The Little Colorado Grand Falls. Sunday, April 5, 2009. Leslie and I and our friend Charles had an awesome weekend getaway to Tucson, Kartchner Caverns, and Sonoita Creek. . We took off Friday night and checked out the Tuscon Night Life.
