Saturday, June 25, 2011. His first present. Thomas the engine from Grandma Shadow! I just happened to see this Thomas in the attic when we were getting Kaden's presents down, so I told Justin to get it down and we'll give it to Kaden for his bday. My dad gave it to Kayli when she was 1 or 2. Well, Kaden was so excited! He told everyone all day that he got a new big Thomas. I love re-gifting! His new little Thomas is battery operated so he pulls all of Kaden's old trains now. It was so fun! Isn't she so p...

Sunday, March 20, 2011. Feeding Kinley rice cereal. She didn't love it. But she loves her baby food! This is McKinley's blessing dress. I altered it for one last wear before I put it away. Kinley loves her toes! Every time I take her diaper off, she puts her toes in her mouth, then sucks on them. Kaden was so excited that him and Colby were wearing matching sweaters. Kayli, Taylor, and Kaden. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. She put all the ingredients in. They were very yummy! It was so fun! Last month Justin...

Parkinson Family: February 2011

Thursday, February 17, 2011. Kinley was tongue-tied so we went to the hospital to get it clipped. She had to be put under so that part was kind of scary. But after everyone fasted for her, I felt that she would do great and she did! It was quick and easy. She nursed right after and so far has done good. She doesn't act like she's in pain at all. She keeps sticking her tongue out and spitting. Its SO cute! Waiting in the room for the nurse before the surgery. The nervous Mom and Dad. Mommy and baby before.

Friday, June 25, 2010. We were able to fly to Utah to visit the family! First thing we had to do when we got to Grandma and Grandpa Cox's (Shadow) was go out to the sheep and baby chicks. Kaden had a blast chasing the chickens around the coop. Kayli loved her little Peep Peep. The kids were so excited to go to the temple! Kaden had to carry around this red purse the whole time. My mom and I made a tradition of going to this yummy pasta and cupcake place last year, so of course, we had to go again. Brando...

Saturday, December 18, 2010. I've been wanting a nativity advent calendar for a long time, so I finally made one. It turned out so cute and the kids love it! Each day Mary and Joseph get moved up the trail, plus you have to add something to the stable. That way the stable will be ready when Mary and Joseph get there. Friday, December 17, 2010. Then played games until one in the morning. The next morning was McKinley's blessing. It was so special having everyone here for it. Cards and scrabble time! Danie...

Sunday, November 21, 2010. Kayli's Last Soccer Games. We had so much fun watching Kayli play soccer this year! She is really good. We are so proud. Her last two games were special because Grandma got to watch her play. We made grandma a matching shirt so she could be part of the Kayli fan club. She loved it. Her and Justin almost got kicked off the field from yelling so much. They really get into it! Our buddy TK even came to watch Kayli play. After the game Kaden ran over and said, " I get three dollars!

Monday, April 4, 2011. Lestia's tour of VCOM. Celestia wanted to see Justin's school so we took her on the big tour. First she met the Hokie Bird Doctor. Then Justin took her into see the cadavers! I peeked in and saw all the body bags and decided that WASN'T for me! Celestia was a little nervous at first, but after she held the first lung, she was okay. In all she held a heart, lung, liver, kidney and eye ball. Sound exciting? It looks like throw up, but it really worked! Our feet were so soft! Brandon ...
