Coco Sunday: September 2010
http://coco-sunday.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 September 2010. Sometimes the ordinary day to day stuff is just there in the background and you don't really appreciate it when it's there all the time. One day recently; on a grey and drizzly day I looked out of my window at work. It was so rainy but there was a little bit of sun peeking through and I switched the settings on the camera to manual to capture the blur. If you look hard enough, I mean really hard enough, the loveliness is there where-ever you are. Monday, 27 September 2010.

Coco Sunday: October 2010
http://coco-sunday.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, 21 October 2010. The road less travelled. The mornings are getting so dark around here, that most of the journey to work is done in darkness now. I have to confess though to a certain fondness for seeeing the world wake up and the sun rise, even if it is through the windows of the car. I'm beginning to get my mojo back again and am still enjoying the mondo beyondo. Wednesday, 6 October 2010. I'm trying to spend more time doing the things I enjoy, instead of running around like a headless chicke...

Sunday, March 28, 2010. Off the Needles: Coraline. I am completely in love with the sweater. I have worn it quite a few times, and it is perfect. I am already planning another one. Talked me into buying over a year ago), I am completely enamored with it now. It's sunshine! This sweater = happiness. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Bring back the sunshine! And may ...

The Little Lads: May 2010
http://thelittlelads.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 30, 2010. Off the Needles: Shalom-y and Manda Ruth. I just remembered that I never posted about my Shalom sweater! I made this back in March, in the weeks right after Guthrie's birth (back when the husband was still off work, and I could just hang out in the rocking chair, nurse the baby, and knit all the live long day). So, the details. This took me about 3 weeks to knit up. I used Cascades Eco-Wool. 2 hanks. I made a few mods (namely adding sleeves), that are all on the Ravelry page. Thursd...

Sharing my crafting adventures…. July 23, 2009. Posted by beingbeatrice in Uncategorized. I have decide to have a giveaway. I’m making things left, right and centre but don’t have time to sell them! My job involves long hours, generally over 6 days a week so I never have the time and/or the inclination to run a craft stall or put on a car boot sale. And Etsy is time-consuming and costly (if you’re not selling) so what to do with all my handcrafted goodies? So… inspired by Operation NICE. You are commenti...

I have been drooling over this soap ever since I stumbled upon Sherries blog twenty-two pleasant. And learned that she is a soapmaker from Nova Scotia (my new favourite province)!
