A collection of recipes inspired by ingredients from the Farmers' Markets in Boston, MA and the NH Seacoast. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Salsa Verde: Where've You Been All My Life? 65279;The annual garlic progression has begun at the Farmers' Markets in Boston and Portsmouth, NH. Right now, it's the green garlic stage; soon to be followed by garlic scapes, and finally, garlic bulbs. Each stage offer its own taste treat, and I'm always looking for new ideas that bring out the unique flavor. So when.

Seacoast Gathering for Good. Seeking different ways to make a difference for Seacoast New Hampshire, Southern Maine and beyond. June 19, 2015. Summer can be crunch time for families. Summertime can be a challenging time for families in need. Monday, March 29, 2010. But what about "local chains" (like Pet Quarters, which has locations only in NH and Maine). or what they call "locally owned franchises" - Ace Hardware comes to mind. Are these to be avoided, or are they ok alternatives when a truly local, independently owned, small business alternative isn't available? I haven't quite figured that out yet. I'd like to think that I can shop exclusively at independently owned, small local stores - but is that even possible any more? I like crocuse...
