I am currently reading a book that I believe will change my life. Considering the years I have spent reading self-help and how-to books, believe me when I say that I do not make this claim lightly. The book is called Mindset. You can guess which one I have. Once I had a taste of being the best, well, I wanted to stay the best. And that meant avoidi...

Talking back to the happily ever after. Are You There God? It's My Daughter, not Margaret. When I was growing up, I loved all of Judy Blumes books, and one of the scenes that stuck with me over the years was in. Are You There God? Its Me, Margaret. Not content to wait, she soon told us that she had lost a tooth- a molar way in the back so we couldnt see it- and that the tooth fairy had stopped by her room and had brought her money that she had already put in her piggy bank. . Talking back to the happily ever after. Laquo; 25 Days. Stuck in a Moment ». The Boy is eight. This morning he marched off to third grade, grumbling a bit about the unhappy coincidence that his birthday happens to fall on the first day of school, but mostly he was happy and eager, and outside waiting for the bus nearly 20 minutes early. Talking back to the happily ever after. Like Sand Through The Hour Glass ». Stuck in a Moment. Yesterday I tackled a long overdue task: cleaning out the closet in the office/extra bedroom. It contains hitherto unopened boxes from when we left the city for our suburban rental house in 2008 that we never managed to open when we settled into this house in 2009. Among the treasures I found was this:. Posted at 09:51 AM in Childish Things. You can follow this conversation by subscribing to the comment feed.
