It's a re-shoot of the Flower done around 8 in the morning. I don't really like it as much as the other but there it is. That's how we learn :). Well here it finally is. See what I mean. I tried once again to get a shot of a white flower. I can't seem to figure out how to get a decent shot of something white. I'm going to have to try to find some techniques that work eventually. Maybe buy a flowering plant as a prop would help. I was walking the dog when these 2 flew up out of the grass.

This is a place to keep folks posted on my occasional travels. There was an error in this gadget. Friday, October 8, 2010. So, on my way to Canyonlands. This is my first trip to this particular park. Its a 13 hour trip. We're going to stop for the night in Phoenix and head in tomorrow. We expect to explore the southern unit, the Needles. The campgrounds are on a first come basis. I don't know how often I'll be able to post since I don't expect to get much of a signal. We'll see :).

2011 Tokyo Marathon. Leaders at 6K. Stuck out my arm, pushed the iPhone camera button. Complete luck. January 7, 2018. Happy New Year (Happy meaning no injuries). Haven't had much to report - more eating and drinking than running. So, have been resting and running easily, and seem to be pain and injury free. I'm planning to do nothing but long, slow runs for three months to build strength. Work up to two and three hours every day. I'll do the occasional interval workout, but not all-out.
