Things I will order tonight at dinner. 1 Vegetable tasting with grilled flatbread - the flatbread is my favorite part of eating at Spring Hill, every time. Like manna from heaven. 2 Three course Dine Around Seattle set menu - such a good deal. I'm thinking hangar steak is in order. 3 Baden-powell cocktail - dry fly gin, bosc pear tonic, soda, lime, shaved ice. Perfect for this sunny fall day; I can pretend it's still summer. We went a little crazy this year at the Seattle Tilth Plant Sale and brought home what we thought were about 60 plant starts, but discovered yesterday that several start containers actually held 4 starts. More spinach for us! We needed at least 25 cubic feet of soil and wound up with 27: 18 feet of organic top soil, 6 feet of organic compost, and 3 feet of organic steer-gro manure. I'm going to make every effort to update on a regular basis. I can't start chemotherapy until I have finished healing from surgery. Today I got the results of the blood test. My INR is at 1.5. it went from 3.9 to 1.5. We're trying to get to 2.0. If it drops any more, I'll have to start the shots again.
