http://www.buildingafrog.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 21 April 2015. DIY Fire Starters: Made from stuff you throw away! I first posted about making fire starters when I did a post of. Prepping For the Camping Season. But since I was making my supply of them for this year, I figured I would give them their own post. Thursday, 9 April 2015. Ive had it in my head for awhile now, that pineapple just does not have a large enough roll in the world of food preservation and canning. And why not? Friday, 3 April 2015. Building A Frog: November 2014
http://www.buildingafrog.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 November 2014. Is It Very Dear? Many second hand stores have a craft section. Each one is different. Some have all the craft supplies unceremoniously dumped into bins, some have dedicated sections for each craft supply type. I often swing by and take a look, just on the off chance someone decided to get rid of their entire stash of beautiful hand dyed yarns. seriously, it could happen. Wednesday, 19 November 2014. A while back, I responded to a post on What is your favourite quick dinner?
Building A Frog: Our Favorite Chicken Marinade Recipes: Everyday, Zippy and A Little Kick
http://www.buildingafrog.com/2015/04/our-favorite-chicken-marinade-recipes.html
Friday, 3 April 2015. Our Favorite Chicken Marinade Recipes: Everyday, Zippy and A Little Kick. Like many households we eat a lot of chicken. Chicken can get boring after awhile but by using different marinades and cooking techniques, you can make it feel far less repetitive. Now that its not -32 celcius, we are grilling and using the smoker again. This also broadens our chicken options and gives us more flavour diversity. Quick, Easy and the ingredients are always around. 2 tbsp olive oil. Whenever you ...
Building A Frog: Vanilla Pineapple Syrup
http://www.buildingafrog.com/2015/04/vanilla-pineapple-syrup.html
Thursday, 9 April 2015. I've had it in my head for awhile now, that pineapple just does not have a large enough roll in the world of food preservation and canning. And why not? Pineapple is naturally sweet and acidic. A perfect combination for preserving. 2 cups pineapple (fresh or canned). 2 cups pineapple juice. 3 cups brown sugar. Put all ingredients in heavy bottom pot except for vanilla bean. Cut vanilla bean in half and scrape the seeds into the pot, then toss the bean in the pot for extra flavour.

Fiber Fangirls: June 2014
http://fiberfangirls.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 29, 2014. Tour de Fleece starts on Saturday and I wanted to clear my spindle. I spent most of this weekend finishing up the plying on my Knitting Knorth. Polwarth. I finished it on Saturday morning, gave it a soak and hung it outside to dry all day. It's 288 yards of sport weight and it's the most yardage I have ever spun. The colors are super bright so I think I will make a larger toy with it rather than something to wear. I decided on spinning my Shadawyn Fiber Arts. Friday, June 27, 2014.
Fiber Fangirls: Yarn Dyeing
http://fiberfangirls.blogspot.com/2015/05/yarn-dyeing.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. I ended up knitting a pair of monkeys out of it and am in love with how it knit up. I am definitely trying this technique again. After the dyeing was done, we made some pizza and salad, sat around, knit and just enjoyed the rest of the day. Jen's husband even made an appearance! Overall, I would say the day was a success. I can't wait to host another dye session soon. Phoebe's has to be in all my photos. May 19, 2015 at 2:12 PM. May 20, 2015 at 9:00 PM. We are Jen and Jess. Two ...

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. With Jen going through a move and Tour de Fleece taking up most of our free time, we decided to take a week off from blogging so we could get stuff done. Awhile back, Vickie of Bird Leg Bags. Trekking XXL, colorway 550. While setting up the craft room (finally! I only have one WIP to share...

Friday, May 15, 2015. So we have been quiet for awhile, but our needles have been moving! We are hoping to start back into the blog and have a few posts to catch you up on all we have been up to. From knitting and other crafting, to fiber festivals and bestie adventures. One of the bigger projects that I have finished recently is a baby blanket that I made for my cousin. She is expecting a little boy (any day now) so I wanted to make sure I sent something she could snuggle the little guy in. So I knit on...

Friday, May 22, 2015. Hidden River Yarns-A Review. A couple of weeks ago, Jen told me about a new to us yarn shop in Manayunk (Philadelphia) called Hidden River Yarns. She suggested we check it out sometime. I checked my work calendar and decided I was able to take a vacation day and needed some bestie adventures, so we planned a trip. When we first walked into Hidden River Yarns I was surprised at how small it was. It's one room, with a couch and a table with a few chairs. The ceiling was red wi...I saw...
